The Devil: Why The Whatmans?

Padar: My Grandfather, or great Grandfather was known as 'The what man'..People would ask him a question and he would say, 'What man'? He wasn't deaf, just selective hearing I think..

The Devil: What other names did you ponder before deciding it had to be the Whatmans?

Padar: I can't remember any other names...

The Devil: Who are the biggest influences on your sound?

Padar: Anything and everything. Personally I like The Prodigy, Oasis, Kasabian, The Stone Roses, The Who, The Beatles, The Stones, The Animals...The list goes on...

The Devil: What was the first record you owned and what was the first record you ever bought with your own money?

Padar: First record I ever owned was The Best of Rod Stewart I think. Either that or Genesis. First record I ever bought was Ultra Sonic I think. Maybe it was Music For The Jilted Generation by The Prodigy. Not sure was a long time ago!!

The Devil: What's the most embarrassing record in your collection?

Padar: I don't have any ones that are too bad anymore. I use to have a Scooter album. That's about the worse one I had.

The Devil: What makes The Whatmans stand out from the millions of other bands across the world? What makes you unique?

Padar: We are all extremely beautiful!!

The Devil: Which bands or artists on the current music scene make your spine tingle with joy?

Padar: Kasabian and The Prodigy. Two of the best.

The Devil: Favourite song?

Padar: I can't pick one, there's so many brilliant songs!!

The Devil: Favourite book?

Padar: TV guide or The Bible!!

The Devil: Favourite Movie?

Padar: Anchorman, it's so funny. I must have seen it a million times and the more I watch it the better it gets.

The Devil: Favourite word?

Padar: Do people have favourite words??(Some do)

The Devil: Tell me something that you've never told anyone before.

Padar: I don't even like music. I'm in it for the money. But keep it to yourself. (OK - The Devil Oops sorry!)

The Devil: If you weren't in The Whatmans how would you keep yourself occupied?

Padar: I'd be a millionaire.

The Devil: If you were interviewing yourself what would your killer question be and how would you answer it?

Padar: I'm not interviewing me, you are. You come up with a killer question, and I'll have a killer answer for you my friend.
