The Little Philistines release their new single 'Hot Phone' on 7th February, another in a lengthening list of quirky English pop ditties rolling off the Little Philistines' production line. With a melody that's more agile than a rubber gymnast and a chorus that's more insistent than a room full of ringtones 'Hot Phone' is Brit Pop at it's most contagious. While you're at it check out the band's brilliant single Head On Fire which is the closest they've come to matching the phenomenal 'Love Explodes'.
Why this band haven't yet imposed themselves on the ears of the nation is a mystery that I'm not clever enough to comprehend. What do more do they need to do to have a hit?
