I've listened to 'Dennis Bergkamp' by Guildean Gang (check out the video below) a number of times and I can find no connection to the great Dutch footballer. Not only that I haven't got a bloody clue what they song is about. However that's not important, what is important is how brilliant it is. One reviewer described it as a cross between The Kooks and The Enemy but don't let that put you off because it doesn't. They've also apparently been compared to Scouting For Girls and The Automatic!! But don't let that put you off either because they don't. They're more organic, more interesting, more original, more eccentric than that. 'Dennis Bergkamp' sounds like a less whimsical and ballsier Young Knives and is yet another track on the ever increasing list of contenders for the Devil's top 10 of 2010.
