You Saw The Whole Of The Sky

Whole Sky MonitorWhole Sky Monitor
From: Leeds, United Kingdom

The natives are restless after the angry polemicism of KUTOSIS earlier this week the Devil brings you another gang of shouty, angry young men.

Leeds’ Whole Sky Monitor are on a mission to inject a dose of sonic shock into the body politic. Their new album Twisted Little Piggies, is a discordant, vaguely political, overtly misanthropic body of hyper-energetic and upsetting rock and roll blasts that smokes and sweats bullets. They may already have delivered the first anthem of the opposition to the coalition cuts although their target is a little easy. 'Sold' blames Margaret Thatcher and her legacy for our current problems although surely Blair and Brown aren't entirely innocent. Appropriately, it’s a ferocious song dripping with barely suppressed anger. It's tense, it's frantic, it's frenetic and it'll shake 10 Downing Street to it's foundations.

While KUTOSIS may be the first band manning the barricades Twisted Little Piggies will be the soundtrack to the coming revolt.
