Wild Party are five gangly kids from the middle of Texas with a laptop, some beat up guitars and more energy than a kindergarten after a red bull overdose. They sound like The Killers after A Flock of Seagulls injection which is remarkably much much better than that sounds.
Their debut single, Life's Too Short, is as catchy as a fishing rod with 20 hooks. It's a neat blend of pop melodies and jittery dance rhythms that'll claim squatters rights in your brain. The band are set to visit the Devil's neck of the woods, in October for a brief tour across the UK with their British cousins The Wombats.
'Life's Too Short' will be released on 25th October on 7" vinyl and the usual digital formats. If you can't wait until then you can download 'Take My Advice' which will be the singles b-side.
