Little Sea Monsters is the fruitful brood of the elusive yet multi talented Nick Crumpton a lapsed marine naturalist, tree surgeon, amateur astronaut, former guitarist with the largely unheard ColorFilm and one half of the equally unheard and oddly named electronic duo Robots Like Milk (alongside Lipstick Entourage keyboardist Tom Cale).
According to his Myspace site the last known sighting of Nick was amongst the disheveled architecture and spires of Cambridge, England where he was discovered by Hilldrop Records. Under the kindly tutelage of the record company Little Sea Monsters have just released a debut EP 'Bear On My Back'. An EP of gentle alternative folk created by a perfectionist who places great emphasis on every aspect of a song no matter how small. It sounds like a bucolic, quaintly English Sufjan Stevens.
The EP will be digitally released on iTunes and will be accompanied by a limited edition audio cassette release available at select independent record stores.
