The Monolators were featured on the first ever Devil's blog (I've Started Something) and have been regulars ever since. The LA band are looking for a little support to help them finish the production of a 12" vinyl record. They remain unsigned (a travesty that makes me despair of the music industry) and have put out all of their records, since 2002, completely unassisted, funding everything themselves. It's the true spirit of DIY that the Devil loves. The only financial support they ever get is from people buying copies of their records.
They are aiming to release their next record in November but are a little short of funds to finish it up. So they are asking people to pre-order a copy to help them get it mastered and pressed to vinyl.
This is a unique chance for you to help a great band. If you've got a couple of pounds/dollars to spare then take a trip over to the band's Kickstarter site and make your pledge. The records will only be funded if at least $1,600 is pledged by Wednesday Sep 15. There's 8 days left and the band are currently short by just over $350 so it's important that you trip over there today.
