The blogosphere has gone nuclear over Porcelain Raft, the solo recording project of Mauro Remiddi, once of cosmoplitan multi-continental psych pop outfit Sunny Day Sets Fire (featured on the Devil's blog way back in 2008 Here Comes Summer).

Take one listen to the fantastic Fools (see video below) and you can see why the blogs are all agog. Mauro sculpts delicate, dreamy soundscapes out of the finest clay like a refugee from a 4AD seminar. This is music targeted at your heart, music that stirs the emotion. Before long your tear ducts feel like Venice after a heavy rainstorm.
