Ironically the frequently unclad Portland trio dress up their music with all sorts of sonic trickery and symphonic magnificence. They've just released their new album, Mines, which recalls The Flaming Lips at their melodic best. Loaded with meandering melodies and swirling, layered psychedelic hooks it's a sweeping statement of intent, a magical mystery tour of discovery.
