Guilty Ghosts is the pseudonym of lo-fi drone rocker Tristan O’Donnell. Most of his tracks follow a very similar pattern. Layers of droning guitar, mechanical drum machine and the occasional stab of found sound. It's melancholic music for darkened rooms. It's come down music for the early hours; music to ease the tripping mind. But there's a twist. Tracks like the ominous, foreboding Prelude/Postlude and the feedback drenched Grand Illusions have a dark, sinister edge. Guilty Ghosts will lull you to sleep while infecting your brain with the stuff of nightmares. It's chillout music as reimagined by Hitchcock.
